Applications for the Robert Stigwood Fellowship Now Open
The program provides mentorship and professional development to local musicians and industry entrepreneurs.

The Robert Stigwood Fellowship is now open to artists and industry professionals keen on receiving mentorship and guidance from leaders in their field to improve their career opportunities in the Australian music scene.
First established in 2014, the annual fellowship takes its name from South Australian music industry pioneer Robert Stigwood and is helmed by local lad Dan Crannitch and Stu MacQueen, who have worked with the likes of DMA's, Don West, Amy Shark, Grinspoon and more through their record label and management roster, Wonderlick Music.
The program is designed to build industry knowledge, expand professional networks and create opportunities for participants to achieve their long-term goals in music.
There are two Fellowships available, with the Artist Fellowship focusing on the needs of creatives and including everything from songwriting and production mentorship to marketing and PR tutelage, while the Industry Fellowship offers emerging South Aussie music industry entrepreneurs one-on-one help to develop and strategise a business plan for the following 12 months.
There is around $25,000 worth of funding dedicated to each artist and $5,000 to industry entrepreneurs involved in the fellowship.
Across the 12 months, Crannitch and MacQueen will help selected applicants build a sustainable career, with previous Fellows including Tkay Maidza, Electric Fields, Teenage Joans, aleksiah, West Thebarton, Bad Dreems and the Tullamarines.
Applications are open from now until Wednesday 11 November at create.sa.gov.au, with all applicants notified of the outcome of their application by email in mid to late December 2026.
