A Perfect Circle Share New Single 'To Whom It May Concern'

'To Whom It May Concern' is the second single released by A Perfect Circle this year, following the #1 US Active Rock radio hit 'Starless'.

At just under four minutes long, this one is quite moody, giving off The Cure vibes, with frontman Maynard James Keenan addressing the sad demise of civilisation.

Written earlier this year and recorded at founder Billy Howerdel's Lankershim Ranch Studio in Studio City, California, 'To Whom It May Concern' was produced by Howerdel, mixed by Matty Green (U2, Florence + the Machine, TV on the Radio) and features longtime collaborator Josh Freese on drums.

"It's exciting to finally get some new music out into the world, and seeing 'Starless' reach #1 at rock radio this week has made it even sweeter!" says Howerdel. "The outpouring of support is so very much appreciated. 'To Whom It May Concern' is next up! More to come."

Adds Keenan, "Been way, way too long. New tunes, new dance moves, new hair hats. Figure it out. #figureitout."

A Perfect Circle have also announced a run of North American and Canadian dates for next year that follow their upcoming Australian and New Zealand visit.

The band will be supported by Keenan's other band Puscifier and comedian, musician and writer Dave Hill on their jaunt down under, with the tour marking A Perfect Circle's first visit to Australian shores since 2013 and a return to New Zealand following a 22-year absence.

Kicking things off at Adelaide's The Drive on Friday 4 December, A Perfect Circle follow up with concerts at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena on Sunday 6 December and the Riverstage in Brisbane on Tuesday 8 December, followed by two gigs in Sydney at Carriageworks on Thursday 10 December and TikTok Entertainment Centre on Friday 11 December. The tour wraps up in New Zealand at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Sunday 13 December.
