John Craigie Announces 2027 Australian Tour

After spending three weeks touring the country last year, folk singer-songwriter John Craigie is returning in 2027 for a run of intimate shows.

Having toured with Cat Clyde in 2024 and Lassi Valassa in 2025, Craigie's third visit down under will see the troubadour travelling with emerging folk artist Anna Moss.

Fans can expect to hear tracks from Craigie's new album, I Swam Here, alongside deep cuts and fan favourites from his extensive back catalogue.

Speaking about the relationship formed with Craigie, For Love Police promoter BT says, "Craigie hit us up out of nowhere a bunch of years ago. It took a while for a tour to take shape, but we knew he had the goods to present his excellent, interesting, distinctive and unique flavour anywhere and everywhere. He loves to travel, so we send him everywhere. For the people!"

Craigie's tour gets underway on Thursday 1 April at Northcote Social Club in Melbourne. Dates then follow at Meeniyan Town Hall in Meeniyan (Friday 2 April), Beechworth's Tanswell's Hotel (Saturday 3 April), Canberra's The Street Theatre (Sunday 4 April), Factory Floor in Sydney (Tuesday 6 April), The Baroque Room in Katoomba (Thursday 8 April), Bellingen's The Loyal Bellingen Gold Club (Friday 9 April) and the Eltham Hotel in Eltham (Saturday 10 April), before wrapping up at Brisbane's The Junk Bar with matinee and evening shows on Sunday 11 April.

John Craigie has been writing and playing music for more than two decades, with his live shows that blend storytelling with relatable songs helping him get noticed by Jack Johnson, who took him on tour in 2017, and the rest is history.

He's released ten studio albums, including this year's I Swam Here, several live albums and even four cover albums, including 2025's Lonely Revolver, which features Craigie covering the Beatles' Revolver.
