Head along to everyone’s favourite live music venue, Crown & Anchor, this weekend for YO FEST. The mini-festival features ten awesome local acts and celebrates Young Offenders' debut self-titled EP, which turns ten this year.
Taking the stage alongside punk duo Young Offenders, who have just completed a lap of Australia supporting Less Than Jake, is an eclectic mix of Adelaide bands ready to turn the Cranker bandroom into a heaving mass of bodies.
Expect killer sets from fellow punk rockers LOLA, whose latest single, ‘Love It Or Leave It,’ is receiving rave reviews, shoegaze quartet The Genevieves, underground punk mainstays The Lizards, ratbag rockers Looch, and Adelaide stalwarts Seventeen Fifty Seven.
Also performing on the night are pub rockers Sacrificial Larinx (killer name), fierce femme rock quartet The Vains, loud and fast trio Steal Capz and DIY garage rock act Northbri.
A massive stall will also be set up so fans can grab merch from all ten bands playing YO FEST.
Unsurprisingly, early bird tickets sold out in no time, with general admission tickets going for a lazy $30 via Humanitix.
