YO FEST Takes Over Crown & Anchor This Weekend
The mini-festival is being held to commemorate ten years since the release of Young Offenders’ self-titled EP.

Head along to everyone’s favourite live music venue, Crown & Anchor, this weekend for YO FEST. The mini-festival features ten awesome local acts and celebrates Young Offenders' debut self-titled EP, which turns ten this year.
Taking the stage alongside punk duo Young Offenders, who have just completed a lap of Australia supporting Less Than Jake, is an eclectic mix of Adelaide bands ready to turn the Cranker bandroom into a heaving mass of bodies.
Expect killer sets from fellow punk rockers LOLA, whose latest single, ‘Love It Or Leave It,’ is receiving rave reviews, shoegaze quartet The Genevieves, underground punk mainstays The Lizards, ratbag rockers Looch, and Adelaide stalwarts Seventeen Fifty Seven.
Also performing on the night are pub rockers Sacrificial Larinx (killer name), fierce femme rock quartet The Vains, loud and fast trio Steal Capz and DIY garage rock act Northbri.
A massive stall will also be set up so fans can grab merch from all ten bands playing YO FEST.
Unsurprisingly, early bird tickets sold out in no time, with general admission tickets going for a lazy $30 via Humanitix.

Originally formed as a trio, Young Offenders are now an indie punk duo who have been a cornerstone of the local Adelaide live music scene for over a decade.
Having toured with everyone from The Bronx to Cancer Bats, Young Offenders have gained a reputation for their energetic live performances.
This year has seen the band drop the six-track EP Anything Else? and release the pub rock-inspired single, ‘Into Town’.
