Woodford Folk Festival has announced another massive lineup for its 2024/25 event, with tickets on sale now via woodfordfolkfestival.com.
Taking place at Woodfordia in the Moreton Bay region, the festival runs from Saturday 27 December 2025 to Thursday 1 January 2026 and brings together music, culture and community in one of Australia’s most picturesque locations.
Boasting more than 450 artists performing in over 20 venues across six days and nights, Woodford Folk Festival is a magical event everyone needs to experience at least once in their lives.
This year’s lineup is headlined by Adelaide’s own Electric Fields, fresh from representing Australia at Eurovision 2024. Also taking to the stage across the six days and nights are some of the country’s biggest artists, including Troy Cassar-Daley, Sarah Blasko, Budjerah, Hollow Coves, BARKAA, Lior, KUČKA, Birdz and Fred Leone, San Cisco, Briggs, Mama Kin Spender, Gordi, Dizzy Days, Beddy Rays, and C.W. Stoneking.
When it comes to international acts, the bill features the likes of South Africa’s Msaki, Canada’s Richard Wood, Kenyan percussionist Kasiva Matua and Scotland’s Talisk.
It’s not just music, with Woodford Folk Festival’s program spanning more than 1,500 performances, including workshops, trapeze by The Stunned Mullets, comedy from Otto & Astrid and traditional rhythms from Papua New Guinea’s Ambum Cultural Group.
Making its return is the Tinlids Children’s Festival, where kids can interact with dirtgirlworld and an expanded program of play and discovery.

Woodfolk Folk Festival has made a huge impact on Queensland tourism, with the state’s Minister for the Environment and Tourism and Minister for Science and Innovation, Andrew Powell, having this to say about the festival, “We see Queensland as the future events capital of the nation, acting as a powerful drawcard to the regions as part of our 20-year tourism plan - Destination 2045. This year, the Woodford Folk Festival is set to provide a $28.35 million boost to the region, with approximately 165,000 direct visitor nights, supporting local jobs, businesses and regional vibrancy in the process,” he said.
Minister for the Arts John-Paul Langbroek adds, “The Woodford Folk Festival is an iconic, home-grown event that attracts Queensland audiences and visitors to the state that has sustainability and storytelling at its heart.”
