Regional South Aussie music festival Dougstock returns for the sixth year in December with another sparkling lineup of national and local acts.
Held across the first weekend of December (Friday 5 - Saturday 6) on private property in Wilunga, this year’s edition of the music and camping festival is headlined by psych folk rockers Sons of Zöku and drumming maestro Alexander Flood.
They will be joined by jazz ensemble James Muller’s Organ Thieves, R&B meets pop singer-songwriter Ms Chipeta, country music act The Jeffries, enchanting folk singer-songwriter Laura Hill, Irish collective Kelly’s Wayke, instrumental funk party band Terry’s Pocket, groovy hard rockers Custard Pie and meditative handpan and digeridoo artist Tribal Sound Journey.
The bill also includes Zen Garden, Ripcord, Moose Juice, Circo Liquido, CFS, MJ Turner and Crybaby Cletus, Saxicola, The Publishers, Michelle Shanti and DJs Es’ay and Trip.
A family-friendly and inclusive event, Dougstock is brought to life by the collaborative efforts of volunteers, local businesses, artists and environmental groups.
It’s not just great music, with market stalls, a Kid’s Zone, Chai Tent, Lounge Stage, delicious food trucks and a licensed bar.
