Aloha Festival is a new all-ages surf, music and culture festival landing at Dee Why Beach on Saturday 6 March 2027.

Pairing a stacked Australian lineup with the world's greatest surf films, the inaugural edition of the festival is headlined by ARIA-winning rock powerhouse Wolfmother and Australian indie favourites Ball Park Music.

The bill also features Dune Rats, The Terrys, The Beautiful Girls, Mid Drift and The Beefs, along with a special performance from legendary rockers Yothu Yindi.

It's not just great music on offer, with Aloha hosting a range of surf films curated by the Australian Surf Film Festival, featuring John Florence's Hawaiian Aloha Festival Exclusive, Jack Johnson's The September Sessions, Stacy Peralta's The Yin and Yang of Gerry Lopez, George Greenough's 1971 classic Echoes, Paul Witzig's All Down the Line, Ritualistic Tendencies and Long Reef’s Kobi Clements starring in Unwritten, directed by Joel Barker.

Aloha is also committed to creating a platform for meaningful community impact, championing shark education and ocean safety, First Nations and Hawaiian culture, environmental sustainability and mental wellbeing.

"Aloha Festival is a celebration of everything that makes the Northern Beaches, and the Australian coastline, so special. Our community has been rocked in recent times, and we want to create an event where everyone from five-year-olds to 85-year-olds can come together, connect and share the spirit of Aloha," said Festival founder and Long Reef local Luke Campbell.

"Bringing a vision of this scale to life takes a village, and I've been genuinely blown away by the support we've received along the way. It still blows my mind that we’ve secured such an incredible lineup of artists and, for the first time, bring the world's best surf films onto the main stage between live music sets to deliver continuous entertainment throughout the day.

"Aloha is about more than the entertainment. It's about creating something meaningful for our community - a place where people can come together, celebrate our culture, reconnect with the ocean and support initiatives that will make a positive difference long after the music stops."

Presenting Partner Jamie Gray, CEO and Founder of Perfect Wave Travel Group, said of the partnership: "For 20 years, The Perfect Wave has believed surf travel is about more than waves. It's about culture, community and connection with the ocean, and that's exactly what the Aloha Festival celebrates. We send surfers to the world's best breaks; Aloha brings that spirit home to the Northern Beaches, where Australian surfing began. Saying yes was easy, and there’s no better way to celebrate our 20th anniversary."

Aloha Festival takes place at Dee Why Beach on Sydney's Northern Beaches on Saturday 6 March 2027. Ticketing and lineup information is available at alohafestival.com.au.
