After leaving Adelaide and Fremantle off his tour schedule, Winston Surfshirt has righted his wrongs and added dates in both capital cities.
Winston Surfshirt and his crew will hit Gage Roads Brewery in Fremantle on Friday 14 November as part of Live & Local (free entry) and Lion Arts Factory in Adelaide on Saturday 15 November (tickets on sale here).
“Album is finally out! We’ve been popping up this year around Australia on boats and mountains - I think it’s time we go on a proper tour!” Winston said in a statement. “Can’t wait to finally play this new album live for you! See you soon Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide!!!!”
The tour begins at Brisbane’s The Princess Theatre on Friday 26 September, as part of this year’s Brisbane Festival, before heading to 170 Russell in Melbourne on Friday 17 October and Sydney’s Liberty Hall on Saturday 18 October.

Initially a solo project for Winston’s musical ambitions, Winston Surfshirt has grown to include a close-knit community of musicians and friends that have produced four albums together – Sponge Cake (2017), Apple Crumble (2019) and Panna Cotta (2022) and the just-released WINSTON, arguably his best effort yet.
Speaking to The Note about the record, Winston explained how he wanted it to “be produced by someone else” and feature “super strong [songs]” and “have a really strong theme throughout.”
