‘davina mccall’ is the Third Single Taken From Wet Leg’s Forthcoming New Album
‘davina mccall’ follows the previously released ‘catch these fists’ and ‘CPR’.

After dominating Glastonbury over the week, Grammy-winning UK faves Wet Leg’s latest single ‘davina mccall’ is riding up the charts.
The third track taken from their upcoming sophomore album moisturizer (pre-order here), follows the indie rockers previously released singles ‘catch these fists’ and ‘CPR’.
A softer, more nuanced ballad, ‘davina mccall’ finds Wet Leg frontwoman Rhian Teasdale comparing herself to the famous UK TV host amidst the bliss of a new romance: “I’ll be your Davina/ I’m coming to get you/ Fetch you from the station/ Never gonna let you go/ It’s that kinda love.”
The track was co-written by the band, with guitarist Hester Chambers having this to say about the experience, “Ellis (Durand) and I were on the edge of our seats, being like, ‘We’re gonna get this, we’re completing the puzzle.”
The track is accompanied by a stop-motion music video directed by Chris Hopewell that features the band as clay animation figures in search of a feather-stealing goblin. Check it out below.

Produced by Dan Carey (Foals, O., Fontaines D.C.), moisturizer arrives July 11 via Domino. The record contains writing credits from all five members of the band – vocalist and guitarist Rhian Teasdale and fellow finger picker Hester Chambers, bassist Ellis Durand, drummer Henry Holmes and guitarist/synth player Joshua Mobaraki.
Written and recorded in a studio in Southwold, Norfolk, Chambers had this to say about the recording of the album, “We were just kind of having fun and exploring.”
Teasdale added, “We focused on: Is this going to be fun to play live? It was very natural that we would write the second record together.”
Formed in 2019, Wet Leg blew up in 2022 with the release of their self-titled debut album, which not only topped the charts in the UK and Australia but also scored the band two Grammy Awards and two BRIT Awards.
Currently touring Europe playing festival shows, Wet Leg then jet off to America for 16 shows across September and October to celebrate the release of moisturizer.
