Ahead of the release of Grammy-winning UK act Wet Leg’s sophomore album, moisturizer, the indie rockers have dropped the record’s second single, ‘CPR’.
Following the previously released ‘catch these fists’, Wet Leg’s latest is a spirited indie love song with a nihilistic twist.
Produced by Dan Carey (Foals, O., Fontaines D.C.), moisturizer arrives July 11 via Domino (pre-order here). The record contains writing credits from all five members of the band – vocalist and guitarist Rhian Teasdale and fellow finger picker Hester Chambers, bassist Ellis Durand, drummer Henry Holmes and guitarist/synth player Joshua Mobaraki.
Written and recorded in a studio in Southwold, Norfolk, Chambers had this to say about the recording of the album, “We were just kind of having fun and exploring.”
Teasdale adds, “We focused on: Is this going to be fun to play live? It was very natural that we would write the second record together.”

Formed in 2019, Wet Leg blew up in 2022 with the release of their self-titled debut album, which not only topped the charts in the UK and Australia but also scored the band two Grammy Awards and two BRIT Awards.
Currently touring the UK before a run of festival appearances over the summer, Wet Leg jet off to America for 16 shows across September and October to celebrate the release of moisturizr.
