Emerging country singer Wade Forster has announced a massive run of shows across America and Australia.
The announcement comes hot on the heels of Forster inking a deal with UNIFIED Artist Management. The Queenslander has also released several new tracks this year – ‘One Night Stand’, ‘Last Of A Dying Breed’ and his most recent single, ‘Take That Buckle Home’.
The 2024 winner of the Toyota Star Maker award begins his epic world tour at Gympie Music Muster on Saturday 30 August. Forster then jumps on a plane and heads Stateside, perfomring 19 dates before landing back home for the Aussie leg of the tour.
Forster has shows lined up in Deniliquin, Mareeba, Hobart, Carrick, Brisbane, Rockhampton, Mackay, Townsville, Geelong, Melbourne, Adelaide, Katoomba and Sydney, before wrapping things up on Sunday 19 January at The Longyard in Tamworth.
Presale begins on Thursday 31 July at 10am AEST. Visit wadeforster.com for all the details.
Born, raised and still working on a cattle station in Queensland, Wade Forster is part of the new generation of country music cowboys making their presence felt on the world stage.
Picking up a guitar in 2017 for $50, Forster is self-taught. He began playing covers and uploading them online when his take on Tyler Childers’ ‘Oneida’ went viral, leading to the release of his debut album, The Beginning.
His next big break came after performing alongside American country superstar Cody Johnson at Rod Laver in front of 25,000 people during Luke Combs’ recent Australian tour.
While still relatively unknown in Australia, Forster’s popularity has skyrocketed in America, with six of his upcoming overseas dates already sold out, a testament to Forster’s incredible talent.
It won’t be long before Forster is performing in arenas across Australia, so be sure to grab a ticket and see him before he explodes on the national country music scene.
