Australian country music superstar Wade Forster is hitting the road for five special shows this October and November.
The run of dates comes in support of his third studio album, The Aftermath, out Friday 14 August via Community Music.
Following the success of last year’s sophomore release Gooseneck Party, Forster calls The Aftermath “the perfect album for the Sunday scaries. After a big night on the town or even a Gooseneck Party. I write a lot of music on my own, so I will probably have another one for you real soon.”
Speaking on the tour, which includes support from special guests The Wet Whistles and Piper Butcher, Forster says, “Australia is my home, it’s a part of who I am. To be able to do a tour like this is something very special, not just for me and my crew but for the fans and everyone who have support me along the way.”
The Aftermath Tour kicks off on Thursday 22 October at Perth’s Astor Theatre, followed by Friday 30 October at Sydney’s Metro Theatre, Friday 13 November at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall, then on to Hindley St. Music Hall in Adelaide on Friday 20 November, before concluding on Saturday 21 November at Melbourne’s iconic Forum.

Growing up on a cattle station, where he still works, Queenslander Wade Forster has a deep affinity for the country life, which comes across in his music.
The professional rodeo cowboy, who has been playing guitar and singing for close to a decade, broke through in America long before audiences in Australia began to take notice, with his debut album The Beginning becoming a cult hit and leading to several high-profile gigs, including one at the legendary Fort Worth Stockyards, Texas.
Since the release of The Beginning, he’s gone on to share his well-received sophomore album Gooseneck Party, performed alongside American country superstar Cody Johnson and taken to the stage at the Deni Ute Muster, Gympie Muster and Strumming Bird.
Catch Wade Forster performing at Hindley Street Music Hall on Friday 20 November. Ticketing information is available at livenation.com.au. The Aftermath is out Friday 14 August via Community Music. Pre-order here.
