Victor Wooten and the Wooten Brothers Plot Australia & New Zealand Tour

American bassist and songwriter Victor Wooten returns to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 with a ten-date run of shows.
The five-time Grammy Award winner will be accompanied by the Wooten Brothers – comprising Victor’s real-life siblings Regi (guitar), Joseph (keyboards) and Roy (drums) – performing songs from a career spanning more than five decades.
The shows also act as a tribute to middle brother Rudy (horn section), who sadly passed away in 2010. The remaining Wooten siblings keep his memory alive with their energetic performances that have received praise from the press.
Victor Wooten and the Wooten Brothers kick off their first Australian tour shows since 2023 in Canberra at Harmonie German Club on Wednesday 4 February.
Wooten and co then hit Sydney’s Metro Theatre (Thursday 5 February), Brisbane’s Princess Theatre (Friday 6 February), Cairns’ Tank Arts Centre (Saturday, February 7), Melbourne’s Memo Music Hall (Sunday 8 February) and Fremantle’s Freo Social (Wednesday 11 February).
The final leg of the tour includes shows at Adelaide’s The Gov (Friday 13 February), Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre (Saturday 14 February) and Sydney’s The Concourse Lounge (Wednesday 18 February), with the final concert taking over Auckland’s The Powerstation in New Zealand on Friday 20 February.

Learning how to play the bass at the age of two, Victor Wooten began performing with his family band, The Wooten Brothers Band, by the age of six.
Since then, Victor has played in several bands, including Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, SMV and metal band Nitro, while also performing with his brothers alongside some of the biggest names in the business, including The Temptations, Bootsy Collins and the Steve Miller Band.
