Ulcerate Plot Australian and New Zealand Tour 2026
The Kiwi death metal outfit will be joined by The Amenta and Vicissitude.

New Zealand technical death metal act Ulcerate are bringing their Absolved In Perdition tour to Australasia and New Zealand in 2026.
The trio are touring their 2024 release Cutting the Throat of God, so fans can expect to hear songs from their seventh album along with material from Ulcerate’s deep catalogue.
Australian fans will also get to see The Amenta, whose death metal meets black metal sound has been rattling ears for over 25 years, while New Zealanders will be treated to the swarming death metal madness of Vicissitude.
Ulcerate’s tour begins with three shows in New Zealand at Christchurch’s Loons on Saturday 18 April, Auckland’s Double Whammy on Saturday 25 April and Wellington’s San Fran on Saturday 2 May.
Making their way to Australia, Ulcerate perform at Adelaide’s Ed Castle on Thursday 7 May, Melbourne’s Max Watts on Friday 8 May, Sydney’s Crowbar on Saturday 9 May and Brisbane’s Crowbar on Sunday 10 May.

Founded by guitarist Michael Hoggard and drummer Jamie Saint Merat in 2000, Ulcerate, who also includes bassist and vocalist Paul Kelland, have been terrorising heavy metal music fans for over 25 years.
The New Zealand-based trio have released seven studio albums and toured widely across North America and Europe.
Compared to similar bands such as Gorguts, Neurosis and Portal, fans are in for a treat when Ulcerate bring their atmospheric death metal to Australian shores in May.
