Guitar virtuoso and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Tom Morello has announced two Bluesfest sideshows while he’s in the country this March.
The Grammy-winning axeman known for his work with Rage Against the Machine, Audioslave, Prophets of Rage and Bruce Springsteen’s E-Street Band is bringing his highly charged live show to Melbourne and Sydney before his Bluesfest 2025 appearance.
Joining Morello on these two massive headline shows will be Big Noter, the new project from Aussie hip hop great Briggs. Think Bodycount meets A.B. Original and you’ll get an idea of what to expect when Big Noter takes the stage.
Morello plays at Melbourne’s Forum on Sunday, April 13 and Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Wednesday, April 16 before appearing at Bluesfest in Byron Bay on Thursday, April 17 and Friday, April 18.
Pre-sale commences Wednesday, February 19 at 10:30am local time. You can sign up here. General on-sale begins Thursday, February 20 at 10:30am local time via Bluesfest Tours.

Tom Morello’s resume is super impressive, with the guitarist having released three studio albums with Rage Against the Machine before the band called it quits. He went on to form Audioslave with fellow Rage members Tim Commerford (bass) and Brad Wilk (drums), along with Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell on vocals, releasing three studio LPs.
The trailblazer also formed Prophets of Rage (Morello, Commerford and Wilk alongside Public Enemy’s DJ Lord and Chuck D, and Cypress Hill’s B-Real) and recorded and toured with Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
If that’s not enough, Morello has also released albums under The Nightwatchman alias along with several collaborative records, with his first full-length solo rock record arriving later this year.
