Thirsty Merc Announce Massive ‘Summer Live 25’ Australian Tour
The Aussie rockers have locked in a whopping 31 dates across the nation, including two gigs in SA this December.

Aussie rockers Thirsty Merc have unveiled a massive 31-date tour taking place from October to January next year.
The band’s Summer Live 25 Australian tour takes in both cities and regional towns and includes two gigs in SA at Mt. Gambier’s The Globe Hotel and Adelaide’s The Gov.
Taking to Instagram to announce the tour, the band posted: “31 shows Australia wide will bring on the sweet times and hot nights - featuring a setlist packed with hits ‘20 Good Reasons’, ‘In The Summertime’, ‘Tommy And Krista’, ‘Mousetrap Heart’, ‘The Good Life’ and many more!”
The Summer Live 25 tour commences on Thursday 2 October at Canberra’s The Basement before hitting a range of cities and towns, including Townsville, Bundaberg, Gold Coast, Sydney, Torquay and Adelaide, wrapping things up on Saturday 3 January at Laurieton’s Laurieton United Services Club.

Getting together in 2002, Thirsty Merc, comprising original members Rai Thistlethwayte and Phil Stack alongside Matt Smith, dropped their debut self-titled album the same year and found radio play with the single ‘In the Summertime’.
Thirsty Merc have gone on to release three more albums, including Slideshows, which peaked at #4 on the ARIA Album Chart, and released a stack of great singles, such as fan favourites ‘Someday, Someday’, ‘20 Good Reasons’ and ‘Mousetrap Heart’.
While it’s been a long time between drinks, with Thirsty Merc’s last album arriving ten years ago, the band have cultivated a dedicated Aussie fanbase thanks to their passionate live performances, with the band continuing to sell out shows.
