Celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, The Terminator is one of the most successful science fiction movies of all time. Spawning a franchise that’s produced five sequels, a live-action television show, an anime series, several video games, books and comics, the first film in the series is arguably still the best.
The great Arnold Schwarzenegger stars as an uncompromising killing machine sent from the future back in time to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), whose unborn son will be the leader of the Resistance and humanity’s only hope in the future war against the machines. Also sent back in time to 1984 is human Resistance soldier Kyle Reese (Micahel Biehn), whose mission is to protect Connor from the unstoppable Terminator.
An incredible film that gets better with every watch, the chance to enjoy The Terminator on the big screen while soundtracked by a live band performing the iconic score is something no film fan can afford to miss.
See The Terminator Live at Festival Theatre on Saturday, February 1. Tickets on sale now via Spirtworks.
