The Shadow Ministers are celebrating the release of their well-received album Vol II with a run of shows across the nation.
Performing tracks from their acclaimed debut Low Noise High Output and new release Vol II, the lads have revealed that many of the shows are free, with punters only having to fork out a few dollars for the gigs in Port Lincoln, Melbourne and Caltowie.
The Vol II Album Tour begins this weekend with a gig in Port Adelaide at Ten Gallon Hat on Saturday 24 January. The tour continues with shows at Whyalla’s Lefties on Friday 30 January, Port Lincoln’s Sound City on Saturday 31 January, Sydney’s Vic on the Park on Saturday 7 February, Mount Gambier’s Bellum Hotel on Friday 13 February and Melbourne’s Last Chance on Saturday 14 February.
The final three shows take place in March at Greaser in Brisbane on Saturday 7 March, the Exeter Hotel in Adelaide on Sunday 8 March and Caltowie COFU in Caltowie on Saturday 21 March.

Coming together in 2000, The Shadow Ministers emerged in the shadows of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Their blues-inspired debut album, Low Noise High Output, arrived in 2023, with last year’s follow-up, Vol II, their best release to date.
The band’s upcoming run of shows is a great chance for fans to catch The Shadow Ministers in the flesh, with their live shows known for being high-energy.
