South Australia’s iconic three day Tunarama Festival based in Port Lincoln is getting a major new addition in 2026, with SRO Events (Standing Room Only), announcing Rock the Bay, a high-energy, open-air music festival landing on Centenary Oval this summer, headlined by punk rock icons The Living End.
Rock the Bay takes over Centenary Oval on January 17, promising to deliver a powerhouse lineup featuring some of Australia’s most loved live acts, backed by emerging talent and local artists. This all-ages event is designed to amplify the festival atmosphere on the Eyre Peninsula, marking a new era of contemporary live music programming for Tunarama.
The lineup is topped by The Living End, one of Australia’s great live rock bands, renowned for their blistering shows and decades of chart-topping success. The trio are currently on tour supporting their most recent release, this year’s I Only Trust Rock n Roll.
They will be joined by a stack of awesome Aussie acts, including Sydney based Hot Dub Time Machine, the world’s first time-travelling DJ, Sunshine Coast indie-folk favourites The Dreggs, coming off their massive 2025 album world tour, The Art of Uncommon Practice, Adelaide’s own explosive punk-pop duo Teenage Joans and SA based hype-man DJ VYCE VERSO, sure to get any party starting.
The bill is also set to include a slew of local home-grown acts, showcasing the region’s thriving music scene.

SA’s pop punk two-piece Teenage Joans further express the buzz around the event. "We love playing new festivals - they’re amazing community-building events, and it’s a bonus for us that it’s in our home state! We are super excited to be a part of it and can’t wait to rock for Port Lincoln!”
“Tunarama has such a proud history and a huge place in the hearts of the local community”, says SRO Events Managing Director & Co-Owner, Danielle Jones. “We’re thrilled to add Rock the Bay to those memories, both through bringing in some big national acts, and giving local artists a stage. We can’t wait to rock with you, Port Lincoln!”

General on-sale kicks off at 8am on Monday 8 December, with first release tickets going for $115. Tickets available exclusively via the Tunarama website.
