Last year, Adelaide music scene veterans Young Offenders got together with a bunch of their favourite local bands for one special night to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Young Offenders' self-titled EP.
The mini-festival, known as YO FEST, saw Young Offenders take to the stage alongside the likes of LOLA, The Genevieves and The Vains, and was so successful that the lads are throwing another bash next month.
YO FEST ‘25 takes over the Ed Castle on Saturday 27 December and will feature Young Offenders and a stack of local and interstate bands ripping it up in the band room.
The interstate contingent is made up of Melbourne’s folk punk poet Slim Krusty and pub rockers Destrends, who will be joined by some of SA’s best live acts.
LOLA once again get the call-up alongside alt-rock outfit Molly Rocket, punkers Jongo Bones & The Barefoot Bandits, indie-psych-punk wild kids TV Therapy, noise punk act Hesh and local upstarts Ledfly.
Tickets are a bargain at just $40 (+bf) and on sale now via humanitix.com.

Having toured with everyone from The Bronx to Cancer Bats, Young Offenders are known for their chaotic live performances.
Although they’ve been quiet on the music front in 2025, last year Young Offenders dropped the six-track EP Anything Else? and released the pub rock-inspired single, ‘Into Town’.
