Exciting news for fans of The Living End, with the punk rock trio announcing the release of their first album in eight years alongside a run of Australian tour dates.
Arriving Friday 26 September via BMG, I Only Trust Rock n Roll is The Living End’s ninth studio album. The band have already shared two singles from the record, ‘Alfie’ and ‘Strange Place’, and have today dropped the album’s title track, another rush of guitar-fueled adrenaline from the three-piece.
Keen to share their new album with fans in a live setting, The Living End are embarking on a five-date national tour this November and December. Not only will fans get to hear tracks from I Only Trust Rock ‘n’ Roll, along with classic Living End songs, but the lads are also performing their self-titled debut album in full.
Beginning at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Saturday 8 November, The Living End then perform at Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Friday 14 November, Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens as part of Live At the Gardens on Saturday 22 November and Fremantle Prison on Saturday 29 November, with the final show taking place in Sydney at the Opera House Forecourt on Friday 12 December.
Fans who pre-order I Only Trust Rock ‘n’ Roll will get access to a special pre-sale, with general on-sale kicking off Friday 25 July at 9:30am local time via thelivingend.com.au.

Bursting onto the Aussie music scene in 1997 with the release of their hit EP Second Solution / Prisoner of Society, The Living End became household names a year later when they followed up with their self-titled debut album.
Topping the ARIA Album Chart, the record also earned The Living End two ARIA Awards. Since then, The Living End have released seven albums (all of which cracked the top ten of the ARIA Album Chart) and cemented themselves as one of the country’s premier live acts.
