The Jungle Giants Tour Going Ahead Despite Sam Hales Motor Accident
The frontman was involved in a motor accident that forced the band to cancel their Bass In The Domain headline show.

Good news for fans of The Jungle Giants – the band’s Australian tour in support of new single, ‘Hold My Hand’, is still going ahead despite frontman Sam Hales’ recent motor accident.
Although the accident details haven’t been released, it was bad enough that Hales found himself in hospital undergoing surgery, forcing the band to cancel their headline set at Bass In The Domain.
There were fears The Jungle Giants might have to cancel their entire tour, but taking to social media last Friday (March 21), the band confirmed Hales had been “given the all clear” for the April tour.
“I’m so happy to say I’m doing so much better [and] will make a full recovery and the April tour is 100% happening!” Hales wrote on the band’s Instagram.
“I had a big scare that I wouldn’t be able to play guitar again, but the absolutely amazing docs and nurses at the PA hospital have said the surgery was a success and that I’ve been extremely lucky. I’m feeling so thankful. Can’t tell you how much all your kind messages have meant, and the support of my friends and fam. Especially for all the snacks. Feeling very loved and lucky. It’s been amazing.”

The Jungle Giants 2025 Aussie tour commences in Sydney with two gigs at the Metro Theatre on Thursday, April 3 and Friday, April 4.
The quartet then have dates lined up at Newcastle Uni on Saturday, April 5, Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Friday, April 11, Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Saturday, April 12, Frankston’s The Pier on Sunday, April 13, Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Friday, April 25 and finally, Brunswick Heads Hotel Brunswick on Saturday, April 26.
