After spellbinding audiences at Dark Mofo earlier this year, English goth rockers The Horrors have revealed they are returning to Australia in 2026 for a headline tour.
The quartet’s Night Life Australian Tour is their first run of headline shows in the country since 2012, when they popped up on the Laneway lineup and played several shows in support of their third studio album Skying.
The Horrors’ upcoming run of shows arrives after the release of their sixth album Night Life, which was described in press material as a “record born out of a desire to revive the raw, instinctive spirit of the band’s early work.”
Touching down in April 2026, The Horrors begin their tour in Brisbane at the Princess Theatre on Friday 10 April. The Horrors then perform at Sydney’s Manning Bar on Saturday 11 April, Melbourne’s Northcote Theatre on Sunday 12 April and Adelaide’s Lion Arts Factory on Tuesday 14 April, with the final gig taking place at Perth’s The Rosemount on Wednesday 15 April.
Pre-sale starts on Friday 31 October at 9am AEST, with general on-sale kicking off on Monday 3 November at 9am AEST. Ticketing details are available via thephoenix.au.

Stalwarts of the British music scene, the Horrors have been writing and releasing music for close to 20 years.
Making their presence felt way back in 2007 with their goth rock debut Strange House, the band flipped the script with their 2009 Mercury-nominated follow-up Primary Colours. The band continued to release compelling albums, with 2011’s Skying taking out NME’s Award for Best Album, 2019’s Luminous going down the shoegaze experimental route, and V receiving a five-star review in The Guardian.
The most recent chapter of The Horrors’ story is this year’s Night Life, which has received generally positive reviews from critics.
