The High Kings Announce ‘The Rocky Road’ Australian Tour 2026
Ireland’s leading folk group return down under this October.

After a hugely successful 2025 Australian tour, Irish folk group The High Kings return this October on their The Rocky Road Tour.
The band’s popularity has exploded over the past 12 months after their songs ‘The Rocky Road to Dublin’ and ‘Go Lassie Go’ were included in the hit movie Sinners.
The Rocky Road Tour 2026 will build on this global success, offering audiences a high-energy live show that reinforces The High Kings’ place at the forefront of Irish folk.
The High Kings’ Australian jaunt begins with four shows in Victoria at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall on Friday 9 October, Geelong’s Costa Hall on Saturday 10 October, Ballarat’s Civic Hall on Sunday 11 October and Frankston’s Art Centre on Monday 12 October.
The tour continues with shows at Brisbane’s Princess Theatre on Wednesday 14 October, Tweed Heads Twin Towns on Thursday 15 October, Adelaide’s The Gov on Friday 16 October, Perth’s PCEC Riverside Theatre on Saturday 17 October, Wollongong’s Anita’s Theatre on Wednesday 21 October and Canberra’s Theatre on Thursday 22 October.
The Rocky Road Tour ends with three final concerts in New South Wales, with the Irish troubadours performing at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Friday 23 October, Newcastle’s City Hall on Saturday 24 October and Wyong’s The Art House on Sunday 25 October.

Coming together in Dublin in 2008, The High Kings consider themselves global ambassadors of Irish heritage and storytelling. Across their nearly two-decade career, the group have released five studio albums and four live albums, achieving huge success worldwide, including in Australia, where they have a strong fan base.
The current lineup of Finbarr Clancy, Brian Dunphy, Darren Holden and Paul O'Brien have had a huge couple of years, completing multiple sold-out world tours, amassing over 5 million weekly streams and performing at legendary festivals and venues, such as Glastonbury Festival, The Isle of Wight Festival, Times Square and NYC, Trafalgar Square.
