Fans of Melbourne surf rockers The Grogans get excited. The ‘60s-inspired trio are gearing up for the release of their hotly anticipated fifth studio album, Stagger. Ahead of the album’s release on May 23, the lads have shared new single, ‘Roundabout’.
Mixed and mastered by Joseph Carra at Crystal Mastering (King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Amyl & The Sniffers, The Teskey Brothers), the tune is a dashing psychedelic rumbler with a mesmerising riff.
Lyrically, the song addresses settling down and being “constantly stuck in the same motion over and over again, much like a roundabout.”
“Every day feels like it’s a mirror of the last, and sometimes those around you are the only thing that keeps our sense of self together,” the band said in a statement.
