Sydney’s grunge ratbags are getting the band back together for a run of exclusive shows in January 2026.

Two years on since their final gig, Sydney’s “shitty grunge trio” The Dead Love are getting the band back together in 2026 for a run of national shows.
Taking to social media to announce the Back From the Dead Tour, the band wrote, “Been a minute lords, and YES the rumours are true – we’re all back in AU Jan 2026 and have decided to do [a] run of shows!! Super keen to party with ya’ll again!!!”
The Back From the Dead Tour kicks off in Adelaide at the Ed Castle on Friday 16 January, with dates following in Brisbane at Black Bear Lodge on Saturday 17 January, Melbourne’s Bergy Bandroom on Friday 23 January and Sydney’s Lansdowne on Saturday 24 January.

Sydney-based grunge rockers The Dead Love were formed in 2010 by Stevie Knight (vocals/guitar), Clint Ossington (bass) and Miles Cochrane (drums).
Known for their DIY approach to music, they quickly established themselves as a cult act in the Sydney music scene, going on to release three acclaimed albums – So Whatever, The Extinction of Unicorns and The Dead Love.
The lads have toured extensively across Australia and internationally and shared the stage with the likes of Grinspoon, Stand Atlantic and DZ Deathrays.
Speaking on their popularity, Ossington said, “We succeeded in being a success, because we measure that by the experiences we’ve had all over the globe as a band”
After calling it quits in 2023, The Dead Love are back and ready to rip it up at venues across the nation next January.
