The Darkness are heading back to Australia and New Zealand in 2026 on their monster Dreams On Toast tour.

Hitting the road to celebrate the release of their new album Dreams On Toast, The Darkness have unveiled emerging Aussie act RAGEFLOWER as the main tour support. Having gained an impressive audience following across the US, Europe and Japan, RAGEFLOWER is a magnetix alt-rock performer who is pushing boundaries with her emotionally warm sound.

After performing to packed crowds across Australia last year, touring their hugely successful 2003 debut album, Permission To Land, The Darkness play two concerts in New Zealand at the Powerstation in Auckland on Tuesday 17 February and Meow Nui in Wellington on Wednesday 18 February.

The Darkness then play shows at The Tivoli in Brisbane on Friday 20 February, Miami Marketta on the Gold Coast on Saturday 21 February, Bar On The Hill in Newcastle on Sunday 22 February, Waves in Wollongong on Wednesday 25 February, the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on Friday 27 February, Hindley Street Music Hall in Adelaide on Saturday 28 February and Odeon in Hobart on Sunday 1 March.

The final run of shows takes place at the Metropolois in Fremantle on Wednesday 4 March, Pier Bandroom in Frankston on Friday 6 March, and the Forum in Melbourne on Saturday 7 March and Sunday 8 March.

There are also exclusive limited VIP Packages now available, offering the ultra-fan experience – meet the band, access soundcheck, side-of-stage viewing with drinks, Q&A, photo, goodie bag, early merch and venue access, plus the chance to step on stage.

Breaking out in 2023 with their debut album Permission To Land, The Darkness found themselves shooting to the top of the charts, selling millions of albums and taking home a plethora of awards, including an Ivor Novello.

They dropped their sophomore album, One Way Ticket to Hell... and Back, in 2005 and looked set to become the biggest band in the world, only for frontman Justin Hawkins’ personal issues to derail the band, with The Darkness going on a five-year hiatus.

Making a comeback in 2012 with their third album Hot Cakes, The Darkness have continued to entertain fans around the globe with their exuberant live performances and are not to be missed when they hit Adelaide next February.

Catch The Darkness at Hindley Street Music Hall on Saturday 28 February. Tickets on sale now via sbmpresents.com.
