The Cure are releasing a concert film of their massive 31-song performance shot at London’s Troxy in November 2024.

Directed by British filmmaker Nick Wickham, the concert celebrated the release of the band’s latest album, Songs of a Lost World. The Cure performed the album in full for the first and only time at the Troxy.

The concert also commemorated the 45th anniversary of The Cure’s sophomore album, Seventeen Seconds, with the band performing tracks from the album along with all their biggest hits, including ‘Boys Don’t Cry’, ‘A Night Like This’, ‘Disintegration’ and many more.

The film will hit select cinemas across the globe on December 11.

The release of The Show of a Lost World follows last year’s Songs of a Lost World, The Cure’s first studio album in 16 years. The album was a huge success and topped the UK Albums Chart, along with peaking at #4 on the Billboard 200.

The album received critical acclaim, with Clash calling it “a grand, heartbreaking statement” and The Guardian writing that the album is “dark, personal and their best since Disintegration.”

The Cure also released a companion album, Mixes of a Lost World, featuring remixes of the tracks on the album from the likes of Four Tet, Paul Oakenfold and Orbital.

The Show of a Lost World arrives in select cinemas on December 11.
