Sounds By The River returns in 2027 with a spectacular all-Aussie lineup headlined by Cold Chisel's iconic frontman Jimmy Barnes.

Taking place at Mannum Golf Club in Mannum on Saturday 9 January, Barnes will be accompanied by acclaimed singer-songwriter Jon Stevens (Noiseworks/INXS Collection), Perth rockers Birds Of Toyko, indie rock favs Eskimo Joe, legendary hard rockers Baby Animals, Melbourne's Chocolate Starfish and Adelaide's very own Sarah McLeod.

It's hard to believe there will be this much talent on display next summer when Sounds By The River touches down in South Australia, and if ticket sales are like recent years, you'll want to get in quick before they are all snapped up.

Tickets go on sale this Friday 7 August at 10am AEST via ticketmaster.com.au.

Every artist that makes up the bill is a superstar in their own right, with Barnesy considered the heart and soul of Australian rock and roll. With 22 #1 albums to his name, Barnes has delivered some of the biggest hits across more than 40 years with Cold Chisel and as a solo artist.

Last year saw the release of his 21st studio album, DEFIANT, and second cookbook with wife Jane, Seasons Where the River Bends, along with tours celebrating the 40th anniversary of his landmark album, For the Working Class Man.

Jon Stevens' career has been just as successful as Barnes', whether as a member of The Noiseworks, the INXS Collection or as a solo artist.

Sounds By The River features two WA acts – Birds of Tokyo and Eskimo Joe – who have both achieved chart success and regularly sell out shows across the country.

Old school rock outfits Baby Animals and Chocolate Starfish are masters of their craft and always deliver live, while Sara McLeod is the ARIA Award-winning frontwoman of rockers The Superjeues and an accomplished solo artist.
