Currently on tour in support of their just released live album, Go for Broke, Adelaide legends The Angels have announced they’ll be hitting the road again at the end of the year on their Echos of Thunder tour.
The tour will see The Angels playing all their biggest and best hits across two sets with no support acts. Expect all the classics, including ‘Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again’, ‘No Secrets’, ‘Take A Long Line’, ‘Shadow Boxer’, ‘Marseilles’, ‘Comin’ Down’, ‘After The Rain’, ‘Face The Day’, ‘Mr. Damage’, ‘I Ain’t The One’, ‘Let The Night Roll On’, ‘We Gotta Get Out Of This Place’ and many more.
“What we love about playing two sets is it allows us to dig deep into the catalogue and play those songs that were hits for the true fans,” says founding guitarist John Brewster.
The Angels’ Echoes of Thunder tour takes in 17 dates across the country, beginning at Doncaster’s Shoppingtown Hotel on Friday 10 October and concluding with a hometown gig at The Gov in Adelaide on Friday 19 December.
Tickets for all shows are on sale now via theangels.com.au.

It’s been a big couple of years for The Angels, with the band celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2024 and releasing their 14th album, Ninety Nine, which was also their first with new singer Nick Norton, who replaced longtime vocalist Dave Gleeson.
“Last year was really special,” adds Brewster. “And that was down to all our fans who made the 50 Not Out tour one to remember. But I really feel this is the beginning of an exciting new chapter for The Angels.”
Along with their upcoming Echoes of Thunder tour, The Angles are performing as part of the mammoth Rock the Boat 26’ lineup that also includes James Reyne, Rose Tattoo, Kate Ceberano and the all-star rock band Kings of Chaos, which includes ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons, Deep Purple’s Glenn Hughes, Cheap Trick’s Robin Zander and more.
