Telenova’s much-anticipated second album, THE WARNING, is out via all good streaming platforms (listen here).
Described as “a bold, sonically adventurous record where sleek pop immediacy collides with darker, more experimental undercurrents”, THE WARNING is comprised of ten brilliant tracks, including previously released singles ‘THE DEEP’, ‘IN THE NAME OF YOUR LOVE’ and ‘VAPOR//SLOW DANCE’.
To celebrate its release, Telenova have released a fourth single, ‘FAULT LINE’, a pulsating injection of industrial indie pop showcasing the distinct personalities of the band’s three members – frontwoman Angeline Armstrong and multi-instrumentalists and producers Edward Quinn and Joshua Moriarty.
Speaking about THE WARNING, Armstrong describes the album as “glimpses of God in a godless world of anxiety and noise,” an unintentional mirror held up to a time defined by seeking, pressure and quiet resilience. “It became a document of where we were at - a period of struggle, but also of hope and beauty breaking through.” Moriarty adds, “THE WARNING is us trying to find calm in the middle of the noise.”
