“Everything's coming up Milhouse!” in the world of Adelaide indie rock duo Teenage Joans.
Not only has their new single ‘My Heart’s Dead!’ been receiving rave reviews, but their upcoming four-date national tour is selling like hot cakes. Now the dynamic duo can reveal they are perfomring at the UK’s The Great Escape Festival in 2026.
Held in pubs and clubs around the seaside town of Brighton, just an hour on the train from London, The Great Escape is the UK’s answer to SXSW. A four-day showcase of bands and artists from across the globe, organisers have announced the first lineup of artists performing at next year’s festival from 13-16 May.
Joining Teenage Joans at The Great Escape 2026 are the likes of Brighton’s rising math rockers SLAG, Swedish singer-songwriter Isak Benjamin, Irish indie quartet Madra Salach, Nigerian-born, Ghana-based creative Tommy WÁ and French multi-instrumentalist Max Baby.
Teenage Joans have also been hand-picked to perform at The Great Escape’s First Fifty launch – a series of small gigs taking place across eight different venues in London on 13 November.
Teenage Joans will perform alongside Ava Joe and SISTRA at Oslo in Hackney on a night of live music hosted by Ticketmaster New Music.
