Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers Share New Single ‘MOTHER’, Announce Sophomore Album ‘GLORY’
‘MOTHER’ follows the previously released singles ‘BALCONY’ and ‘UNSCARRED’.

ARIA Award winners Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers have sent fans into a tizzy with the announcement of their hotly anticipated sophomore album, GLORY.
Dropping Friday 7 November via Mom+Pop Music (pre-save/pre-order here), GLORY is ten tracks of indie rock goodness that’s been described in press material as “an exploration of confidence, disgust, infatuation and power.”
Produced by three-time Grammy Award-winning producer Catherine Marks (boygenius, Wolf Alice), the album was recorded over five weeks in a bush studio in Darkinjung Land on the NSW Central Coast.
Accompanying the announcement was the release of new single ‘MOTHER’. Following the previously released ‘Balcony’ and ‘Unscarred’, Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers’ latest banger features guitarist Scarlett McKahey on lead vocals for the first time.
“‘MOTHER’ is for every beautiful, magical lady who’s been caught in the crossfire of a man pretending to be good,” the band shares. “It’s about the built-up rage of watching incredible women being mistreated by inadequate men, over and over again, since the beginning of time.”

Comprising Anna Ryan (they/she; vocals/guitar), Scarlett McKahey (she/her; guitar/vocals), Jaida Stephenson (she/her; bass) and Neve van Boxsel (she/her; drums), Teen Jesus and the Jean Teasers have become a rock and roll force since the release of their 2022 EP Pretty Good For A Girl Band (2022).
Their debut LP, I Love You (2023), peaked at #6 on the ARIA Album Charts and thrust Teen Jesus into the global spotlight, with the quartet winning a stack of awards and being handpicked to open for Foo Fighters and Pearl Jam in Australia and the US.
Now based between Ngunnawal/Canberra and Naarm/Melbourne, Teen Jesus are ready to unleash their new album on fans this November as they write the next chapter in their story.
