Kevin Parker writes a new chapter in Tame Impala's legacy with the release of the seven-minute epic, ‘End of Summer’.
A spiralling, electro-pysch marvel that continues Tame Impala’s evolution into new experimental territories, the track’s rhymic heartbeat is hard to shake and reminiscent of ‘90s acid house.
The first official release from Parker under the Tame Impala moniker since the 2020 album The Slow Rush, ‘End of Summer’ is a thrilling piece of work fans of the band are sure to love.
The song is accompanied by a music video directed by multidisciplinary artist Julian Klincewicz, which you can check out below.

Since launching in 2007, Tame Impala have become one of the most influential acts in modern music. Each of Tame Impala’s four albums – Innerspeaker (2010), Lonerism (2012), Currents (2015) and The Slow Rush (2020) – have evolved from the psych-rock blueprint they began with into experimental journeys through synth-rock, neo-psychedelic and more.
Both Currents and The Slow Rush topped the Aussie ARIA Chart, with the band having won a massive 13 ARIA Awards, along with a BRIT Award and a Grammy Award, while also spearheading multiple tours both in Australia and across the globe.
Parker has become one of the most in-demand songwriters on the planet, working with an incredible list of musicians and artists that includes Dua Lipa, The Weeknd, SZA, Lady Gaga, Gorillaz, Thundercat, Rihanna and many more.
