Sydney’s Inertia Revealed as Support for Imminence’s Australian Tour
The genre-bending quartet will share the stage with Imminence on their October run of shows.

Sydney’s rising metal rockers Inertia have been handpicked to support Swedish symphonic metalcore act Imminence on their upcoming headline Australian tour.
Inspired by everyone from Spiritbox and Thornhill through to The Weeknd and SZA, Inertia are one of the country’s most exciting bands, having garnered over 5 million streams and sold out their 2025 headline tour.
Along with the news of Inertia supporting Imminence, it has been revealed that the Swedish band’s Melbourne gig has been upgraded due to popular demand, while their shows in Brisbane and Sydney are sold out, with Adelaide and Perth selling fast.
Fans of Imminence who live in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne will also be treated to a special Q&A session with the band courtesy of Nathan McCallum and Johnny Needham from The Break Down.
Launching in 2021, the YouTube show has become one of the leading heavy music channels, becoming a go-to platform for local and international artist interviews and more. The lads have chatted with the likes of Parkway Drive, Bring Me The Horizon, Deftones, Spiritbox and Electric Callboy, and will bring their infectious energy to the stage for the live Q&As.
While tickets are no longer available for Imminence’s Brisbane gig at The Tivoli on Friday 10 October and their Sydney show at Liberty Hall on Saturday 11 October, fans can still get along to the remaining dates at Melbourne’s Forum on Sunday 12 October, Adelaide’s The Gov on Monday 13 October and Perth’s Magnet House on Wednesday 15 October.

Catching the attention of heavy music fans in 2012 with their debut EP, Born of Sirius, Imminence took little time establishing themselves as ones to watch. Their unique symphonic metalcore sound made them stand out from the usual metal fare and has resulted in five studio albums – 2014’s I, 2017's This Is Goodbye, 2019's Turn the Light On, 2021's Heaven In Hiding and 2024's The Black.
The last 12 months have seen Imminence re-record I to celebrate its 10th anniversary, releasing it as The Reclamation of I, along with an expanded and remastered version of The Black, titled The Return of The Black.
Comprising Eddie Berg (lead vocals, violin), Harald Barrett (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Alex Arnoldsson (lead guitar), Peter Hanström (drums) and Christian Höijer (bass), Imminence have several festival dates lined up before their Aussie jaunt, including spots on the bill at Hellfest, 2000trees Festival, Louder Than Life Festival and Aftershock.
Having shared the stage with Bring Me The Horizon, Architects, In Flames and many more over the past few years, Imminence are pumped to bring their full touring show to Australia this October.
