Proudly presented by the District Council of Streaky Bay and supported by the South Australian Tourism Commission through the Drought Relief Regional Event Fund, Streaky Sounds is back in 2026 for another awesome day of live music with headline act The Rubens.
After releasing their fifth album Soda in 2024, The Rubens have spent much of this year on the road, performing to sold-out crowds across the country, celebrating the tenth anniversary of their sophomore album Hoops.
Joining The Rubens at the family-friendly, open-air music festival are The Potbelleez, playing a DJ set, reggae rockers Dojo Rise, party starters Funk Me, indie folk duo Sunday Lemonade and country pop siblings the Hunt Brothers.
Also performing are Ripcord, Henry Smale and Bonkers, with gates opening at 12:30pm at Streaky Bay Oval on Sunday 8 March 2026.

Streaky Sounds has become a regular event on the Streaky Bay calendar over the years, with the event featuring musical acts from across the nation along with a dedicated kids’ zone, a food van precinct and a fully licensed bar.
The poster for this year’s event was designed by local artist Lily Legovini, who the organisers said “captured the Streaky Sounds vibe perfectly.” Check out her poster artwork below.
Streaky Sounds takes place at Streaky Bay Oval on Saturday 8 March 2026. Tickets are on sale now via humanitix.com.
