UK new wave pop outfit Squeeze announce their Australian return next year as they bring their Tried, Tested and Trixies Tour to Australia.

Celebrating 53 years as a band, the 'Cool for Cats' hitmakers have locked in five dates across the country in April 2027.

The current lineup comprises guitarist and vocalist Glenn Tilbrook, bassist Owen Biddle, percussionist Steve Smith, keyboardist Stephen Large, drummer Simon Hanson, guitarist Leon Tilbrook and backing vocalist Danica Dora, who will all be making the trip down under and performing the band's biggest hits and fan favourites.

Speaking about the tour, Tilbrook said, "We are so excited to be coming back to Australia! We have never sounded better, and it feels special to be bringing this new show to all our Australian fans. It’s going to be amazing to show off songs from our new album Trixies and, of course, all the hits and some surprises. Looking forward to getting down there in April 2027.”

Squeeze's Tried, Tested and Trixies tour commences in Brisbane at Fortitude Music Hall on Friday 16 April. The band then make their way to Sydney for a gig at the Enmore Theatre on Saturday 17 April, followed by concerts at Melbourne's The Palais on Monday 19 April, The Gov in Adelaide on Tuesday 20 April and finally Perth's Astor Theatre on Thursday 22 April.

Early-bird pre-sale tickets go on sale at 10am AEST Wednesday 29 July, followed by the general on-sale from 10am AEST Friday 31 July. Full ticketing information is available via destroyalllines.com.
