Short Stack Reveal Australian Tour Support Acts
The beloved trio will be joined by Heartline and Down and Out when they play The Gov in June.

Short Stack are celebrating the 15th anniversary of their much-loved debut album, Stack Is the New Black, with a national tour kicking off in June.
The trio of Shaun Diviney (vocals), Andy Clemmensen (bass) and Bradie Webb (drums) are performing their debut album in full, along with all your other favourite Short Stack tunes from across their lengthy career.
Beginning in Brisbane at the iconic Tivoli on Friday, June 6, Short Stack’s anniversary tour also hits Sydney’s Roundhouse on Saturday, June 7, Adelaide’s The Gov on Friday, June 13 and Melbourne’s The Forum on Saturday, June 14, before wrapping up at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Friday, June 20. Tickets for the Brizzy, Adelaide and Melbourne shows are sold out, with the remaining two shows selling fast.
Joining Short Stack on tour are some of Australia’s best-rising talents. In Brisbane, the trio will be joined by new wave indie party starters Friends of Friends and alt-rock duo Days Like These. Sydney finds Short Stack sharing the stage with dance rock ragers Redhook and fellow pop-punkers Forever Ends Here, while in Adelaide they’ll be accompanied by metalcore outfit Heartline and punky pop upstarts Down and Out. Melbourne fans can witness rockers Bad/Love and dream weavers Pertty Bleak. Perth gets rock meets soul act Chez and indie rockers Ojay.

Forming in the early 2000s, Short Stack's glittering career includes an array of awesome achievements, including being dubbed Channel V Oz Artist of the Year twice (in 2008 and 2010), taking out the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Fave Aussie Band in 2010, going to #1 on the ARIA Album Chart with their debut album and appearing on an episode of Neighbours.
Stack Is The New Black arrived in 2009 and catapulted Short Stack to the top of the charts and into the hearts of Australian music fans everywhere. Certified gold, the album is being released on vinyl for the first time this year to coincide with its 15th anniversary (grab your copy here).
After breaking up in 2012 and pursuing other musical endeavours, Short Stack reformed in 2020, leading to the release of their well-received fourth studio album, Maybe There’s No Heaven.
Last year saw the release of two standalone singles ‘Shotgun Wedding’ and ‘IDGAF’, with Short Stack’s 15 Years of Stack Is the New Black tour one not to be missed.
