Short Stack Celebrates 15 Years Of ‘Stack Is the New Black’ with Australian Headline Tour

2025 marks 15 years since Short Stack released their much-loved debut album, Stack Is the New Black. To celebrate, the trio are hitting the road and performing the album in full for fans nationwide.
Join Shaun Diviney (vocals), Andy Clemmensen (bass) and Bradie Webb (drums) as they work their way through the album, playing hits like ‘Sway Sway Baby’ and ‘Shimmy a Go Go’, along with all your other favourite Short Stack tunes in June next year.
Commencing with a gig at Brisbane’s The Tivoli on Friday, June 6, Short Stack’s anniversary tour then takes in Sydney’s Liberty Hall on Saturday, June 7, Adelaide’s The Gov on Friday, June 13 and Melbourne’s the Forum on Saturday, June 14, before wrapping up at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Friday, June 20.
There are two pre-sales: the Spotify pre-sale kicks off today, Tuesday, November 12, at 9:30am local time, followed by the Early Bird pre-sale beginning Wednesday, November 13, at 9:30am local time. To register, hit this link.

Forming in the early 2000s, Short Stack's glittering career includes an array of awesome achievements, including being dubbed Channel V Oz Artist of the Year twice (in 2008 and 2010), taking out the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Fave Aussie Band in 2010, going to #1 on the ARIA Album Chart with their debut album and appearing on an episode of Neighbours.
Stack Is The New Black arrived in 2009 and catapulted Short Stack to the top of the charts and into the hearts of Australian music fans everywhere. Certified gold, the album is being released on vinyl for the first time this year to coincide with its 15th anniversary (grab your copy here).
After breaking up in 2012 and pursuing other musical endeavours, Short Stack reformed in 2020, leading to the release of their well-received fourth studio album, Maybe There’s No Heaven.
Last year saw the release of two standalone singles ‘Shotgun Wedding’ and ‘IDGAF’, with Short Stack’s 15 Years of Stack Is the New Black tour one not to be missed.
