DJ Shadow Celebrates 30 Years Of 'Endtroducing.....' with 2027 Australian Tour

Endtroducing..... is one of the greatest albums ever produced, and the man responsible, DJ Shadow, is celebrating the 30th anniversary of his critically acclaimed project with a 2027 Australian tour.

Released in 1996, Endtroducing..... changed the rules of sampling, turntablism and instrumental hip hop. Built using obscure samples found by crate digger Josh Davis, aka DJ Shadow, Endtroducing..... is a genre-blurring 13-track album that acts as a masterclass in digging, chopping and knowing exactly when to let a beat breathe.

Following his 2025 sold-out tour, DJ Shadow has revealed five city dates as part of his upcoming tour, commencing in Perth at Perth Festival on Friday 19 February. The Cali native then plays Her Majesty's Theatre in Adelaide on Saturday 20 February, followed by dates at Sydney's Roundhouse on Sunday 21 February, Brisbane's The Tivoli on Thursday 25 February and Melbourne's Royal Botanic Gardens on Saturday 27 February.

Since releasing Endtroducing..... in 1996, DJ Shadow has established himself as a true musical visionary.

He's released seven LPs across the journey, dipping his toes into the world of rock with his fourth album, The Less You Know, the Better, leaning into his hip hop heritage with 2019's Our Pathetic Age and getting experimental on his most recent release, 2023's Action Adventure.

A rare talent who helped revolutionise hip hop and sampling in the '90s, the chance to catch DJ Shadow live behind the decks is one not to be missed.
