One of Adelaide’s longest-running festivals, Semaphore Music Festival, returns in 2025 with a showcase of more than 25 artists across 12 venues in Semaphore.
Held over the October long weekend from Friday 3 to Monday 6 October, the community-driven festival features live music from both local and national artists, gourmet food trucks and plenty of bars.
This year’s selection of venues includes Semaphore Workers Club, Korked, Semaphore Palais Hotel, Semaphore Hotel, Mr V Music and Semaphore Uniting Church.
The live music program kicks off on Friday 3 October at the Exeter Hotel with a celebration of blues music, with Guitars in Bars returning to Semaphore Workers Club with a lineup headlined by Dusty Lee’s Blues Jam and Stefan Hauk.
Saturday 4 October includes Charles Jenkins & Art Starr playing at the Mr V Music Stage, performances by Amin & Lachlan, Mick Kidd and Dave Blight and Guitars in Bars taking over Semaphore Workers Club with 63 Deluxe and Kathleen Halloran Trio taking to the stage.
Those attending on Sunday 5 October can enjoy busking sessions from emerging talents and catch the likes of Lachlan McRae, Don Morrison and Holly Hastings, with the final night of Guitars in Bars featuring Snooks & Sav and Lazy Eye.
The final day of Semaphore Music Festival takes place on the public holiday Monday (6 October) with the Sea Monsters Picnic at Timeball Reserve. A special guest headliner will also be announced in the coming weeks, so keep your eyes peeled.

This year’s Semaphore Musica Festival also includes a songwriting masterclass conducted by Melbourne’s Charles Jenkins, the Semaphore Record Fair for all the vinyl heads and plenty of live music from a host of exciting artists.
