Sanguisugabogg had Aussie audiences going mental when they toured for the first time in 2024, with the band’s infamous tradition of playing “murderball”, where they heave a football into the pit with the promise of free merch to the last fan standing holding the ball at the end of the next song, going down a treat.
The Ohio death metal brutes had so much fun that they are returning in June 2026 with special guests PeelingFlesh, making their debut on Aussie soil.
“AUSTRALIA, WE ARE BACK AND NEW ZEALAND, WE CAN’T WAIT TO BE THERE FOR THE FIRST TIME!” the band posted on social media. “Catch us in June with our very good friends and special guests in @peelingfleshok invading the land down under causing brutal sinkholes along the way!”
Touring in support of their latest album Hideous Aftermath, which Kerrang! called the band’s “most putrid, powerful and perversely listenable”, punters should prepare for an evening of gross-out humour and devastating musicianship when Sanguisugabogg tour next year.
