The South Australian Music Awards (SA Music Awards) return this October to celebrate the awesome talent Adelaide’s local music scene is producing.
Presented by MusicSA, the event recognises the achievements of South Australian artists and has become a highlight on the musical calendar, bringing together the local music community for a night of recognition, performance, and celebration.
This year’s event takes place at a new venue, Adelaide Entertainment Centre, on Tuesday 28 October and will also commemorate the 10th Anniversary of Adelaide being a designated UNESCO City of Music.
Those keen to have their say on the best music to come out of SA this year can do so via the SA Music Awards People’s Choice Awards, with voting open now. Fans can vote for their favourite artists and bands across 12 different categories, with over 600 artists nominated.
“Every year the Awards shine a spotlight on the extraordinary creativity and talent we have here in South Australia,” says Music SA CEO, Christine Schloithe. “With a new venue this year and excitement already building, the 2025 Awards are shaping up to be a truly unmissable celebration of our music community.”
