Finland’s Rotten Sound Announce 2026 Australian Tour
This is Rotten Sound’s first Australian tour in over a decade.

Finland's grind kings Rotten Sound are returning down under in 2026 for the first time in over a decade.
The current lineup of OG members Mika Aalto (guitar) and Keijo Niinimaa (vocals), alongside Sami Latva (drums), is heading our way in April and May with support from Melbourne’s stoner-grind act CHOOF.
Rotten Sound’s Aussie jaunt begins in Perth at Amplifier Bar on Thursday 30 April. Dates follow at Adelaide’s Ed Castle on Friday 1 May, Melbourne’s Leadbeater on Saturday 2 May, Sydney’s Crowbar on Thursday 7 May, Canberra’s Shadows on Friday 8 May and Brisbane’s Crowbar on Saturday 9 May.

For more than 30 years, Rotten Sound have been at the forefront of the grindcore movement, releasing eight albums across the journey.
Renowned for their assault on the senses through grinding guitars, eardrum-shattering percussion and Niinimaa’s aggresive vocals, Rotten Sound will be performing tracks from across their career, including their most recent release, the 2024 EP Mass Extinction.
