Aussie rock and rollers Rose Tattoo are embarking on a massive 19-date tour. Kicking off this month, the Hard Road tour takes in five states across four months and includes shows with Dallas Crane and James Reyne.
The current lineup of vocalist Angry Anderson, guitarist Ronnie Simmons, slide guitarist Mick Arnold, bassist Steve King and drummer Paul DeMarco are set to bring the rock to a host of regional towns and major cities through the first half of the year.
The Hard Rock tour begins on Friday, January 17 at The Whalers Mosman in Mosman. It continues with shows in places such as St. Kilda, Miranda, Wollongong, and Hobart before Rose Tattoo jets overseas in March for several shows in America.
Once back on Australian shores in April, the tour continues with a run of dates in regional towns like Paddington, Shoal Bay and Indooroopilly before coming to an end with two gigs at Morphett Vale’s Emu Hotel (Friday, May 23 and Saturday, May 24) and Collingwood’s Bendigo Hotel (Friday, May 30 & Saturday, May 31).

One of the country’s most enduring rock acts, Rose Tattoo were a mainstay of the pub rock scene in the late 70s and early 80s, gaining a reputation for their electrifying blues-infused hard-rocking live shows.
The Angry Anderson led act released several big singles during their heyday, including ‘Bad Boy for Love’, ‘Rock 'n' Roll Outlaw’, ‘Nice Boys’, ‘We Can't Be Beaten’ and ‘Scarred for Life’.
After more than a decade together the band disbanded in 1987, only to reform in 1993 to support Guns N’ Roses on their huge Australian tour. Although the reunion was short-lived at first, Rose Tattoo finally got back together in 1998 and have continued to tour the globe while releasing three albums – Pain (2002), Blood Brothers (2007) and Outlaws (2020).
Catch Rose Tattoo at Emu Hotel in Morphett Vale on Friday, May 23 and Saturday, May 24. Tickets on sale now via rosetattoo.com.
