'Adelaide’s live hard rock venue The Woodshed is pumped to present Rockin’ Out West. This one-night-only event features three of SA’s great rock acts whipping up a storm on Saturday 6 December at The Woodshed in Royal Park.
Rockin’ Out West is headlined by Brit-inspired heavy rock and rollers Loaded Billy. Signed to Wormholedeath Records, Loaded Billy released their critically acclaimed debut album Legend last year. The album came in at #12 in the International Section of rock blog Via Nocturna and was Album of the Week on Three D Radio.
Heavy Mag called Legend “a true album listening experience from start to finish, embodying the spirit of classic rock records from the ‘70s and ‘80s.” Powerplay Rock & Metal Magazine wrote, “Legend is a solid and diverse metal album covering a lot of different styles. The band sound is tight and there is a confidence about this band that allows the songs to flow, the playing and the vocals all the way through are a joy to soak up.”
Loaded Billy will play a set featuring songs from Legend alongside other originals with a few Budgie covers thrown into the mix.
Sharing the stage with Loaded Billy on the night are Wicked Empire and Lonely Empire.
Wicked Empire are made up of some of SA’s most accomplished musicians who have experience performing all over the globe. Inspired by a range of heavy rock sounds, the quintet of Rino Crescitelli (vocals), Scott Semmler (guitars), Steve O'Shea (guitars), Peter Eime (bass) and Rob Shepherd (drums) are ready to rip things up when they take to the stage for Rockin’ Out West.
Last but not least is Lonely Empire, an emerging Adelaide metal-meets-punk band. The dynamic teenage trio comprising Lucas Magourilos (vocals, guitar), Noah Magourilos (drums/vocals) and Sam Fletcher (bass) are making a name for themselves with their infectious rock and energetic live performances.
Doors open at 7pm with all the action kicking off at 8pm. Tickets are just $15 online or $20 at door. Grab yours now via oztix.com.au.
