Robyn’s latest single, ‘Blow My Mind’, will be familiar to fans of the Swedish pop superstar.
The fourth single taken from her upcoming new album, Sexistential, is a remake of the love song she originally released in 2002. The new version, which was produced by Klas Åhlund, has been rewritten and re-recorded, with a funky electro beat and lyrics about Robyn’s young son.
“‘Blow My Mind’ is the one song on the album about my son,” says Robyn. “I was in that early stage when I was with him all the time, and something about that closeness opened the song up to me again.
“Listening back to the original I thought, ‘I think it’s one of the best songs I ever recorded, and I’m just gonna do it again.’ I rewrote the lyrics and I love this version’s rawness. It’s not cute, because it’s not cute with children. They’re cute, but the experience isn’t. It’s very punk.”
‘Blow My Mind follows previously released singles ‘Talk To Me’, ‘Dopamine’ and ‘Sexistential’, with Robyn’s upcoming ninth album shaping up as one of the must-hear releases of 2026.
