Crowned the winner of The Voice 2024, soulful singer-songwriter Reuben De Melo has announced a massive 17-date national tour.
The WA artist has also dropped new single, ‘Slow’, his first solo release since appearing on The Voice and the lead single from his forthcoming debut EP.
An acoustic guitar number playing to De Melo’s strengths, ‘Slow’ is one for the lovers. De Melo sings about deep connections with those we hold closest and throws in a little rap for good measure.
“As a FIFO worker and a dad, I know how fast life can move,” says De Melo. “Slow is about being present—for your kids, your partner, your heart. It’s a love letter to slowing down and holding on to what really matters.”
De Melo’s stacked Australian tour runs from July to August and kicks off at Brisbane’s Black Bear Lodge on Friday, July 4. This is followed by stops in city centres and regional towns, including Port Macquarie, Sydney, Wollongong, Adelaide, Broome and Exmouth, before he brings things to an end at Fremantle’s Freo Social on Sunday, August 24.
Tickets for all shows are on sale now via nicheproductions.com.au.

Before his appearance on The Voice, De Melo was an aspiring musician who released the independent EP, Consumed, in 2018. Although it failed to chart, the EP opened De Melo up to a new fanbase, with his 2020 single, ‘Sweet Oblivion’, going on to receive over 4.5 million streams.
Applying for The Voice in 2024, De Melo wowed the judges with a cover of Ed Sheeran’s ‘I See Fire’, eventually ending up on American singer-songwriter LeAnn Rimes’ team. A standout across the season, Del Melo went on to win the competition and establish himself as one of Australia’s new voices.
Along with his upcoming solo tour, De Melo is supporting LeAnn Rimes when she performs across the country in September.
