Recitals Australia is throwing an end of year concert celebrating some of South Australia’s finest classical music talent in a special showcase at UKARIA Cultural Centre on Saturday 13 December 2025.
Those involved in the concert are recipients of Recital Australia’s 2025 Elder Conservatorium of Music Fellowship program, which supports the professional and artistic skill growth of students (known as Fellows) from the Conservatorium.
The six Fellows involved in the performance are Adam Draper (trombone), Bridget McCullough (viola), Lucy Macourt (violin), Angus McBride (bassoon), Alex Byrne (flute) and Jenny Su (piano). They will play music by the likes of Biber, Schumann, Paganini, Debussy, Scriabin, Elgar and more in the internationally renowned UKARIA Cultural Centre.
“We are immensely proud of our Fellows and their achievements. These artists are the future of classical music. The opportunity for audiences to see them share the stage is a special moment in time,” says Recitals Australia President Mark de Raad.
“We are thrilled to be championing the next generation of classical music stars in Australia, with the support of our community and the Elder Conservatorium of Music.”
Violist Bridget McCullough believes the opportunities provided by Recitals Australia have been key to her growth as an artist.
“Recitals Australia has provided a wonderful opportunity for me to perform out in the community and to learn about the classical music industry,” she says. “I am excited to perform at UKARIA with the other Fellows to conclude the Fellowship program.”
Catch Recital Australia’s end of year performance at UKARIA Cultural Centre on Saturday 13 December. The performance begins at 2.30pm with light refreshments and the bar open from 1.30pm. Tickets are priced from $39 and are on sale now via recitalsaustralia.org.au.
