Private Function Announce Australian Tour 2025
The Aussie punk larrikins are travelling the nation in support of their upcoming fourth studio album, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Ahead of the release of Private Function’s comically named fourth long player, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ (pre-order here), the Naarm/Melbourne punk rockers have announced an Australian tour.
The five-piece, whose latest tune ‘Animal’ is two minutes of fierce punk rock, are performing ten dates across the nation, beginning with an intimate show at Canberra’s Gang Gang Bar & Cafe on Saturday, May 31.
The loveable larrikins then perform at Beechworth’s Tanswells Hotel on Sunday, June 1, followed by shows at Sydney’s Crowbar on Saturday, June 7, Wollongong’s La La La’s on Sunday, June 8, Adelaide’s UniBar on Friday, June 13 and Perth’s Milk Bar on Saturday, June 14, before two shows in Queensland at Brisbane’s Brightside on Friday, June 20 and Vinnies on the Gold Coast on Saturday, June 21.
The final two dates of the tour are a hometown show at Melbourne’s Max Watts on Friday, June 27, followed by the final gig at Hunter Valley’s Thrashville Festival on Saturday, June 28.

Private Function’s national tour comes as they prepare for the release of their fourth album, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯, which arrives May 23. The album features the first microscopic album cover, comprising a massive 2,590 individual record covers designed by the folks at Bootleg Comics.
Those keen on securing a copy of ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ can pre-order the vinyl with four different colour options available – Manchester Blue, Double Happiness, Firebombed Tobacconist Black and GOOPY, which is a mystery colour.
Pre-orders also come with a free PF magnifying glass so you can get an up-close look at the album covers making up ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
